Mr Pawa is the epitome of of a highly specialised and deeply caring surgeon. I have been under his care for some time in preparation for complex surgery and he has and is freely giving me of his valuable time and knowledge ensuring that I am comfortable, properly prepared and understand the upcoming procedure. I could not expect to be in the hands of anyone better; he is A1plus!

After having a colorectal problem for many a years I was referred to have a surgery done. Because of my other problems it was noted that I may have problem going through with anaesthesia. I was in a state of shock and panic attack when Mr Pawa took me aside in a room and offered me an explanation as to what it should be done. Engaging himself with me, explaining clearly and listening attentively to what I had to say gave me a sense of confidence that he is the one I would trust my life with. I was prepared to go under any surgery he would offered me. I am particularly honoured and lucky to have been able to be placed on his list. The outcome has seen a massive sea of change in the quality of life that I did not have previously. To say that I owe him a debt of gratitude for what he has done for me is an understatement. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Pawa to whoever that may have the same problem that I used to.

Mr Pawa is a true gentleman and he genuinely cares for his patients. I was admitted into WMH early January and and my first meeting with him I was very worried as I suffer from anxiety. At that time Mr Pawa was not my doctor but he was asked by a colleague to assess me to help. When Mr Pawa told me what I might have to have done I was in a state of panic. After having a few CT scans and an MRI he and his colleagues decided to help me in another way than surgical. Through my time in hospital Mr Pawa would take the time out of his busy schedule to see me and make me feel at ease. At that time I was not under his direct care but he made me feel that I was very much his patient and gave me so much support and his caring nature just kept me grounded. He is so empathetic to all his patients. I recently saw Mr Pawa in clinic for a follow up before my colonoscopy so he could just see if I was ok to go through the procedure. Once again he was so understanding and gave me all the advice I require. Also if I need to contact via email is always responds. I believe Mr Pawa is an excellent consultant in his field and generally he is a very good man.
